There are no pictures with this, and no video, because after all, everyone knows what corn looks like.
Because I buy corn in the late summer/fall, steam it, cut it off the ears and then freeze it in 4-ounce portions, I have been looking forward to trying it in the Instant Pot.
I poured in a cup of water, put in a little trivet, and with some juggling, managed to lay six ears of corn on the trivet. Basically, six ears took up the whole thing. My regular stove-top steamer pot is much larger, but much more trouble!
I closed the pressure vent, set it on STEAM for five minuts, let it naturally release for 10 minutes, and the corn was just perfect. It was delicious for lunch, and will still be delicious after corn season is over. I did the other six ears after letting the Instant Pot cool off for about 15 minutes (I don’t think you have to do this, but I did).
